CHIP’d Golf is a smart putting ball system powered by IntelliCore™, an embedded sensor core that tracks real-time ball motion and putting performance. Paired with the CHIP’d Golf mobile app, it measures launch characteristics, roll, distance, speed, and make/miss outcomes to help golfers practice with purpose.
Traditional putting aids only give you visual feedback: alignment lines, mirrors, gates. CHIP'd Golf measures the ball itself. You get real launch angle, real speed, real roll behavior, and real make/miss data on every stroke, so you can practice with the same kind of feedback a tour player gets on a launch monitor anywhere you putt.
Anywhere you can roll a putt. CHIP'd Golf works on putting mats, indoor greens, smooth carpet, and outdoor practice greens, both indoors or outdoors. No special mat, Wi-Fi, or launch monitor is required. You only need a regulation-depth hole if you want make/miss tracking; everything else (speed, distance, roll, etc.) works on any flat surface. A quick shake wakes the ball, and the app pairs over Bluetooth in seconds.
Each smart ball delivers about 20 hours of active putting time, so a 3-ball pack is roughly 60+ hours of practice. Every pre-order includes a 14-day trial to experience the full features of the CHIP’d mobile platform. After that trial period, a tiered plan (free and premium) becomes available — the free tier offers real-time feedback and data of your putts, and premium adds expanded analytics, full drill library, and entry to prize competitions.
Our first production run began in April 2026. All pre-orders will begin shipping at the end of June to early July. Once all pre-orders are fulfilled (in July), all new orders will ship next-day.

Production has begun. All pre-orders will be fulfilled from the first 2 production runs. We currently have 12 production runs scheduled (beginning April thru September) to produce up to 10,000 balls – ~3,300 sets of 3 balls.
CHIP'd Golf is engineered to regulation size, weight, and construction parameters, but it is not USGA-approved, and it does not need to be. CHIP'd Golf is a practice and training ball, designed exclusively for putting. Full-swing or high-velocity strikes can damage the electronics, will void the warranty, and are not what the ball is built for.

The CHIP'd Golf app runs on iPhone (iOS) and most modern Android devices; the official compatibility list will be published before launch.
